Jodi Picoult: NH Book Festival’s 2026 Keynote Author
Jodi Picoult comes to Concord in October!
The New Hampshire Book Festival is thrilled to announce that Jodi Picoult, the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of twenty-nine novels, will be the festival’s 2026 Keynote Author. Picoult will discuss her September 2026 release, Hollow Bones, at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord on Friday, October 2. This will most likely be a sold-out event for this award-winning New Hampshire author, who has an estimated 63.7 million books in print.
For Picoult’s myriad fans, her well-researched, emotionally charged works of fiction are nearly impossible to put down, and Hollow Bones promises to be the same. From the book’s description:
“On September 11, 2001, when Molly Fitzgerald was only two months old, her mother went to an appointment at the World Trade Center and never came home. Her father and the stepmother who raised her couldn’t have loved her more, but she still grew up with a healthy dread of disasters.
Now an adult, she runs the Rhode Island Department for Emergency Preparedness, mapping out ways to save lives during storms, epidemics, and airplane crashes. She and her husband, Jesse—a police polygraph expert with his own history of crisis—have found a love that is a solace in a dangerous world. But then the unexpected upends their new marriage, leading them both to question everything they thought they knew.
Moving between past and present, Hollow Bones is an epic story of the lies we tell ourselves as we write the narratives of our lives, the plans we design to protect ourselves at the worst moments, and the ties that bind mothers and daughters.”
“We are beyond thrilled to welcome superstar author Jodi Picoult to the New Hampshire Book Festival,” said Festival co-founder Sarah McCraw Crow. “She’s not only a gifted novelist, she’s a wonderful presenter and conversationalist, and her event will be one to remember.”
Mark your calendar! Tickets to this event go on sale Tuesday, May 12.
